Canadians Along with their Partners Set to Provide Local Families with Holiday Cheer

IMG_03902Canadians team up with Safeway to donate 100 family-sized turkeys to local families

(Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium – Vancouver, B.C.) – The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club will once again join with Safeway, Avis Rent-A-Car and The Salvation Army to provide 100 family sized turkeys to local select families in need on Friday, October 11th beginning at 12:30pm located at 3213 Fraser Street (at Kingsway).

Vancouver Canadians owner Jeff Mooney will join President Andy Dunn and a number of staff from the Canadian’s, Salvation Army, Safeway and Avis Rent-A-Car to help lift spirits this Thanksgiving.

What: 6th Annual Canadians Thanksgiving

Where: 3213 Fraser Street (at Kingsway)

When: Friday, October 11th, 2013 from 12:30pm through to 1:30pm

 Notes: This event is not open to the public as families have been pre-identified by The Salvation Army to be those in need of assistance.
